Star Students Recognized by Queen Creek Town Council

Seventeen local middle and high school students were recognized by the Queen Creek Town Council at the Feb. 15 Star Students ceremony. The Star Students program recognizes students who are helpful and considerate of others while demonstrating leadership skills. Teachers at participating schools nominate students to be recognized during the ceremony. 

Star students Feb 15The Town Council was proud to recognize the following students:

Benjamin Franklin: Aubrey Davis, Andreas Janfruchte, Brandon Teuscher, Jordan Kemp and Kyra Nielson

Newell Barney Junior School: Kaci Daria, Abigail Farley, Tori Ferguson and Olivia Grove

Queen Creek Middle School: Felipe Arechiga Morelos, Brooklyn Babcock, Cloe Nguyen and Jada Wilson

Queen Creek High School: Jace Bright

Sossaman Middle School: Brady Feczko, Ashley Nichols and Jayla Wright

“The Council and I are always impressed by the young men and women in our community,” commented Mayor Gail Barney. “The Star Students ceremony highlights the fantastic things that are happening in our schools with our youth.”
