The Planning Division administers the General Plan, Zoning and Subdivision Ordinances. The Division reviews applications for projects such as fences & walls, group care homes, and guest housing.
Planning provides staffing to the Town Council, Planning & Zoning Commission, Board of Adjustment, and various other Boards and Committees.
Planners are happy to answer your questions and guide you through the initial application process, from the pre-application meeting through Council approval, in preparation for Building and Engineering Plan Review.
Permit Technicians are trained to be your first point of contact for construction of any project you want to build. They can answer many of your questions, serve as your guide throughout the approval process and help connect you with planners, plan reviewers and engineers as needed.
