Sand bags offered at Queen Creek Fire Department stations
As the rain continues, sand bags are offered to area residents to prevent flooding on personal property. Sand and bags are available for free at both of the Queen Creek Fire Department stations located at 22407 S. Ellsworth Road and 24787 S. Sossaman Road. There are a limited number of shovels that will be on hand for use in filling bags.
Fire fighters are available to assist residents with filling and loading sand bags into vehicles. Sand will continue to be available as weather conditions warrant.
