Due to heavy rainfall in the area, Riggs Road at Sonoqui Wash has been closed. Drivers are advised to find alternate routes. Under no circumstances should motorists attempt to cross a barricade that has been posted closed for flooding.
There may be times that motorists find water-filled dips and standing water across multiple lanes of roadway. Please use extra caution when driving through areas with street flooding. If in doubt, turn around. Dips are often difficult to see, so drivers should slow down when approaching dips or any flooded area.
There have also been reports of fallen or leaning trees. If you discover a tree or any debris blocking traffic, please report it to the Queen Creek Traffic Hotline at 480-358-3131.
