Queen Creek offers new Horsemanship Class at Horseshoe Park

The Town of Queen Creek Parks & Recreation Department is hosting a new class designed to help improve horsemanship skills. Participants will learn proper groundwork and riding techniques that are used by top equestrian professionals.

Offered to adults ages 18 and up, the class begins Feb. 17 and will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesdays through April 28. The program is offered exclusively at Horseshoe Park & Equestrian Centre, 20464 E. Riggs Road. Registration is taking place now through Feb. 15 at a fee of $350 per person. All participants must have: a horse that is broke to ride; four-foot training stick with a six-foot string halter; 12 to 14-foot lead rope; bridle; saddle and pad.
