Neighborhoods in Bloom

The Neighborhoods in Bloom program helps grow neighborhood and Town pride, support community and neighborhood partnerships, encourage water conservation and low-water use landscaping, and promote visually appealing storefronts, front yards and neighborhood parks through the following events:

• The Beautification Program celebrates the beauty of the Town's neighborhoods and businesses. The Town appreciates those residents and business owners who take significant strides toward making the Town a more beautiful place through exterior landscaping.
  
• Cactus Fiesta is a free public event offering residents an opportunity to learn about the beauty and life of the Sonoran Desert and about providing care and maintenance for low-water-use landscaping. The event includes presentations and question-and-answer sessions with experts, a variety of children’s activities, door prizes and vendor displays. 
  
• The Coloring Contest is designed just for the children! Each fall, coloring contest entry forms are made available. Entries are judged in three age groups: 3-5, 6-8, and 9 and older. Winners are notified and prizes are presented at a Town Council meeting!
  
• The Garden Show is a free public event that officially kicks off the annual Neighborhoods in Bloom Beautification Program. It offers residents opportunities to learn from experts about various gardening and landscaping techniques. Local vendors demonstrate products and share tips for garden and landscape beautification projects.
