The Town of Queen Creek received a $1 million grant from Fulton Homes for the construction of design elements in the children’s and teen’s sections of the new library. This additional funding allowed the Town to enrich the interior design of these areas by including exciting thematic elements.

The Mary Lou Fulton Children's Center incorporates a “Four Season’s of Nature” design of colorful landscapes including brightly colored autumn trees, wintry ice-capped mountains, vibrant spring flowers and butterflies, and a relaxing summer beach. The teen area is designed as a chic area with a “coffee shop” feel, set apart with lounge chairs, stylish light fixtures and a neon sign designating it as the "Teen Oasis."
