There have been some changes to our Dance and Cheer classes. Please see below for the most up to date information.
ActivStars: Cheerleading   4-15 yrs
Cheer leading classes feature fun and safety as students build skills preparing them for school tryouts! Students learn cheers, chants, jumps, pom-dance routines and age-appropriate stunts. Registration is on-site at the Library Recreation Annex on the first day of class, Tuesday 5/30. Twinkle Babies Camp (Daily or Weekly)   2-3 yrs
Twinkly Babies Camp is offered as a five-day long camp or once a week camp for your little dancer. Students will experience tap, ballet, jazz, and tumbling during the hour. This is a great opportunity for your twinkle baby age student to burn energy without being in the Arizona heat. Tap and ballet shoes are recommended. Come dressed in comfortable clothes with hair pulled back. Parents are invited on the last day of class to see what their Twinkle Babies have learned! Instructor: 8*Count Dance

"Be a Princess" Camp (Daily/5 days or drop in)  3-5 yrs
Does your dancer dream of being a real princess? Each week is dedicated to a different princess- Cinderella, Belle, and Elsa. Our princesses in training will learn dances, make crafts, and even have the opportunity to perform as their princess. Class includes lessons in tap, ballet, and jazz movement. Tap and ballet shoes are recommended; make sure to put your student's name on their shoes and have a bag to put everything in. Of course, princess attire is a must! Instructor: 8*Count Dance"Be Jasmine" has been canceled. "Be a Princess" is no longer offered as a weekly option.

World Tour Hip-Hop (weekly/drop-in)  6-10 yrs
 Experience what it's like to dance on tour with your favorite recording artists! Each day, dancers learn hip-hop choreography to today's top stars- Beyonce, Bruno Mars, The Weekend, and Ariana Grande-leading up to a high energy performance at the end of the week. Jazz, hip-hop, or tennis shoes recommended. Come dressed in comfortable clothes with hair pulled back. Instructor: 8*Count DanceWorld Tour Hip-Hop (weekly) Saturday session is canceled. Word Tour Hip-Hop is no longer offered as a daily/ 5 day option.

Hollywood Star Camps will no longer be offered this summer. 

Kinder Tumblers   4-6 yrs
This is perfect for children with little or no tumbling experience. Goals in class are building strength, front rolls, cartwheels and bridges. Instructor: 8*Count Dance.

This is for the student with a year or less of tumbling. Goals in class are building strength, round-off, backbends, and handstands. Instructor: 8*Count Dance.

Students learn tumbling moves such as straddle rolls, cartwheels, round-offs, handstands, backbends, and much more! Benefits include improved balance, coordination, flexibility, and concentration. Instructor: 8*Count Dance.

Stretch & Strength   5-17 yrs
This class is for anyone who would like to strengthen their core and help with flexibility. Come dressed in comfortable clothes. Instructor: 8*Count Dance.

Jump Rope for all Levels 7-13 yrs 
This class is for anyone who loves jumprope. Students learn basic jumping and turning tricks with single rope, partner, and long rope. Jumpers need to come with a water bottle and wear tennis shoes. Instructor: 8*Count Dance.

  • Refunds will be given to cancellations received before the end of the registration period. Please expect 4-6 weeks to receive your refund.
  • Failure to attend a program or 'no shows' will not be granted a refund.
  • Requests for refunds must be given in writing.
  • All Convenience Fees paid for online transactions are non-refundable.
