We have some new and exciting Specialty classes this Winter. Read below for more information.

Babysitters Training Plus CPR/AED FA  11-17 yrs 
This one-day course provides students with the knowledge, skills to confidently care for infants and school age children. Participants learn how to respond to emergencies and illness with first-aid, rescue breathing, CPR and other appropriate care along with all of the babysitting basics. Students receive babysitters certification card and babysitters bag, hands-on mannequin practice, interactive learning and more! Students are encouraged to bring a snack or sack lunch. Computer Accounting Home Based or Small Business 101  18+ yrs 
Learn computer accounting and bookkeeping for home based or small business, including non-profits. This class will illustrate double entry accounting and how to organize workflow, identify activities to set-up, operate and balance the books. Students learn how to use Quick books online software integrated with online banking, Excel Spreadsheet and Word.  Instructor: Henry Jenkins 
CPR Community Level, Healthcare Level & First Aid 13+ yrs 
Offering Community Level CPR, Healthcare Provider CPR. Basic & Advances First Aid, Blood-borne Pathogens, First Responder & CPR Instructor Trainer. Participants will learn Public Safety, knowing what to do in an emergency, learn local and state guidelines for employment required training and building self confidence and working in a team environment. Instructor: Mark LaClair 
Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced Horsemanship   8+ yrs 
Learn the basics of Western riding horsemanship, or advance your skills in horsemanship. Classes are divided by skill level. Must have taken the proper prerequisite before moving to the next class. Students under 18 must have a parent/guardian sign a liability waiver at first class. Instructor: Swingin' C Ranch (formerly Valley Silver Bullets)

New: Gardening and Landscaping with Julie Knapp  13+ yrs
Join Maricopa County Master Gardener and landscape designer Julie Knapp to learn how to get the most out of your Arizona garden. This season includes classes in fruit and vegetable gardening, and watering without a drip system. Take your garden from drab to fab! Classes are held at the Recreation Annex. Class dates and prices are listed in the brochure. 

 

Refund Policy

  • Refunds will be given to cancellations received before the end of the registration period. Please expect 4-6 weeks to receive your refund.
  • Failure to attend a program or 'no shows' will not be granted a refund.
  • Requests for refunds must be given in writing.
  • All Convenience Fees paid for online transactions are non-refundable.
