Get ready for a hoppin’ good time at this free signature event celebrating Queen Creek’s families. With live entertainment, color splash, a kick ball tournament, and the always popular egg hunt, Spring Into QC will be fun for everyone!

COLOR SPLASH (Community Color Throw)

COLOR SPLASH


Join us for Color Splash! Periodically throughout the event we will have countdowns to our “Color Splash” where participants will be given packets of color and at the end of the countdown we will fill the sky and each other with color! Join us and plaster your family and friends in a kaleidoscope of color. The Color Splash is a free activity within the Spring Into QC event and is open to all ages. 

Sign-ups for the Color Splash will take place on site. The Color Splash will take place within the designated Color Zone. Upon sign-up, you will be given a ticket with your designated time slot. We ask that you arrive at the Color Zone 10-15 minutes before your designated time slot to collect your color packets. Upon receiving your color packet, you must enter the Color Zone.

Each participant will be given two packets of color. Additional packets will be available for $1.00

Color Splash Times (Limited to 300 participants per time slot):

Egg Hunts 1 Egg Hunts

Get Ready…Get Set…and Hop on over to join us for our annual Egg Hunt. The Egg Hunt runs throughout the event and is divided into age group. Prizes and candy will be found in the eggs, Participants must provide their own baskets!  Bring a smile, sunshine and camera to our annual event!  

Be sure to make note of the designated time frame for each hunt and get there early so you don't miss the fun! The Eggs Hunts will start at the designated times and will continue until the last egg has been found The Egg Hunt is a free activity within the Spring Into QC event.

Golden Eggs
Golden Eggs will be hidden during each designated Egg Hunt time. Golden Eggs can be redeemed at the Cornerstone booth. Only one Golden Egg may be redeemed per participant.

TOT SPOT (5 & Under)
The Tot Spot is a FREE area within the Spring Into QC event specifically for those ages 5 and under. There will be two separate play areas: one for 0-2 and the other for ages 3-5. This area will include a bounce house, egg hunts (for ages 2 & under), and additional activities for the little ones.

QUEEN CREEK 5 (5 Miler, 5K, & .5 Kids Dash)

In partnership with the Town of Queen Creek, Shun the Sun brings you the very unique race distance of 5 miles, the traditional 5k, and the .5 mile dash for kids!

East Valley Kickball Association and the Town of Queen Creek would like to invite you to play in a double elimination kickball tournament. Registration is open to individuals and team assignments will be made by the tournament coordinators. Requests to be placed on a team with other players will be accommodated. The tournament will take place during the annual Spring Into QC community event. While there will be hot competition among the field of teams, there are also several great activities offered throughout the Spring Into QC event, including vendors, entertainment, eggs hunts, kids zone, and more!

What: Inaugural Kickball Tournament @ Spring Into QC
                                                    
Where: Desert Mountain Park, 22201 S. Hawes Road  

When
: Saturday, April 8, 2017
            Check-In @ 8:30 a.m.
            Tournament Start @ 9 a.m.

Who:  Participants ages 16+ are welcome! Players under the age of 18 must have a Release of Liability form signed by a parent/guardian. A maximum of 8 teams will be formed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Registration: 

  • $25 Per Player

  • Team assignments will be made one week prior to the start of the tournament. Players will be notified via email.  

Details:
This is a double elimination tournament. Rules and other details will be sent out to all registrants prior to the tournament.

  • Teams consist of a minimum of 10/maximum of 12 players per team.

  • Teams will have a minimum of four females per team.

  • The number of teams will be determined by the number of entries but to be limited to no more than 8 teams.

  • Check-in will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 8. The tournament will start at 9:00 a.m.

  • All equipment will be provided by the tournament coordinators.

  • This tournament will be held outside at Desert Mountain Park, 22201 S. Hawes Road.

  • Unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated. The first offense: A warning will be issued from a tournament official. The second offense: Forfeiture of the game being played. The third offense: Forfeiture of all tournament games.

  • There is no dress code. However, do keep in mind that this is a family-friendly event that will be played outdoors. We suggest checking the weather forecast that morning!

  • Feel free to bring chairs, towels, etc. to make yourself comfortable throughout the day. Vendors will be available for food/drink purchase on the event grounds, however outside coolers/food/drinks are permitted. No Alcohol Permitted.
