Special Events

The Town of Queen Creek Special Events team produces a variety of high-quality, professional events with a small hometown feel to appeal to residents and visitors of all ages and provide opportunities for you to make memories and share special moments with friends and family! We're always planning for the next event - considering new activities and entertainment options, securing sponsorships, recruiting vendors and coordinating volunteer groups.

Senior Program

The Town of Queen Creek Senior Program meets every Wednesday from 9 AM - 12 PM at the Recreation Annex. This is a free program for community members age 50+. There are many opportunities to serve the program whether it is helping with setup/tear down, serving meals on special holidays, or calling out BINGO! You are sure to have a great experience serving the wonderful folks in the Senior Program.

Service Groups

The Town often has opportunities for large or small group service activities here in the Town of Queen Creek. Opportunities include painting, litter control, tree planting and trimming vegetation in the washes. Whatever your group decides as a project, we’ll help make it a memorable experience.

Eagle Scout Projects

The Town of Queen Creek is always in need of great volunteers. Over the years, the Town has benefited from numerous service projects which have made Queen Creek a better place to live. The Town often has opportunities that could qualify for a memorable Eagle Scout Project. We look forward to working with you on your journey to becoming an Eagle Scout.

Mandatory Community Service Hours

Have you been assigned community service hours by your school as a requirement for a class or for graduation? By a Court as part of your probation or sentence? No matter the reason you have been assigned mandatory community service, the Town has options for you to complete your required service.

Environmental Programs

The volunteer opportunities related to sustainability include assisting at Town Events in Sustainability Square, facilitating youth sustainability programs, or helping at water conservation workshops.  Potential duties would include event set-up and break down, facilitation of games and activities related to sustainability, assistance at informational booths related to recycling and water conservation, or projects utilizing digital media to promote sustainability, preservation and conservation.
