Mission Statement
To provide fair service that will foster public safety and to provide citizens, staff and guests of the Town a safe, sanitary and welcoming municipal-building environment. To provide for the long-term economic health of the Town based on community guidelines and the needs of those who seek our help and approval.
Objectives
Respond to requests for information, assistance, and maintenance as well as complaints in a timely manner; actively communicate with the Town Manager and Town Council about issues affecting the Town; ensure that municipal buildings and spaces are safe, clean and appear welcoming; keep citizens informed of services, programs and projects that affect them.
The Public Works Department staff is professional and dependable in their duties, and is dedicated to providing the residents of Queen Creek with safe and clean streets, buildings and sewers. The Public Works Department is comprised of eight different divisions:
The divisions are responsible for the following:
- Administrative support
- Assuring air quality measures are being identified
- Solid Waste Division
- Providing maintenance of Town facilities, fleet, and streets
- Providing the technical expertise to perform traffic engineering plan review and inspection of PW/CIP projects
