The Queen Creek Town Council has decided  to continue Town Hall’s expanded hours and Friday closures, providing residents with an opportunity to conduct business at Town offices from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Town offices will remain closed on Fridays, but this closure will not affect any public safety or emergency services.

After a trial period, the Queen Creek Town Council approved the continuation of expanded business hours after consideration of customer and resident surveys. A majority of survey participants indicated that they preferred the expanded business hours; 89% of all respondents indicated that they either preferred the expanded hours or had no preference. Surveys will continue to be available at Town offices and the survey page on our Web site as the Town continues with the expanded hours of operation.

Residents have taken advantage of the expanded hours to submit building permits, make bill payments and request water turn-on service. Offices affected by the Friday closure include Town Hall, the Development Services Building, the Parks & Recreation Building and the Water Department Building.

What are the new hours of operation?
The hours of operation for Town offices have been expanded by two hours on Monday through Thursday to 7 a.m.-6 p.m. These offices include Town Hall, the Development Services Building, the Parks and Recreation Building and the Water Department Building.

What areas are closed on Friday?
The Town provides services seven days a week, so not all areas will be closed. Those areas closed will mainly be located in the public accessible buildings of Development Services, Parks and Recreation, Town Hall and the Water Department Building. The divisions and sections include:

Why extend the hours of Town offices?
Many Queen Creek residents have to take time out of their work day to access services at Town offices, such as paying a water bill or signing their child up for recreation classes. Extended hours at Town offices will allow residents to conduct business before or after their work day.

Will I be able to turn my water on/off on Friday?
Water turn on/off will occur Monday through Thursday. Queen Creek Water makes every effort to turn on/off service on the same business day that the service was requested.
