Calling all boys and girls ages 9 to 14! Your chance to compete in an official national basketball competition has arrived. The Jr. NBA/Jr. WNBA Skills Challenge isn’t just about who dribbles the ball the fastest or who scores the most points… it’s about the love of the game.
This national initiative provides youngsters a free opportunity to showcase their dribbling, passing and shooting abilities through a series of activities. Local Competition Champions advance to compete in one of 35 regional competitions across the country in hopes of advancing to the National Finals in Orlando, Florida.
Registration will be held on-site the day of the competition at 10 a.m. No late registrations will be accepted. All participants must provide a copy of their birth certificate and have a parent and/or guardian complete a registration/waiver form prior to the start of the competition. Age classification is as of May 16 of the current year. Appropriate athletic footwear is required. No open-toed shoes allowed.
Special guests will include representatives from our very own Queen Creek High School Boys Varsity and Girls Varsity Basketball team, along with the Girls Varsity Cheerleading team.
