The new Fire Station 1 will forever hold the signatures of Mayor Gail Barney, Vice Mayor Oliphant and Council members Barnes, Benning and Turley! They, along with members of the project planning staff and firefighters, signed the trusses of the new station.

Mayor Gail Barney and Vice Mayor Oliphant visited the Boys and Girls Club to celebrate A Day for Kids - which was a day of games, crafts and prizes for kids of all ages.

Vice Mayor Oliphant welcomed the Valley Leadership, Class 38 to the Queen Creek Olive Mill for a FAM Tour (familiarization tour). Leaders from across the valley learned about the Town's unique agritainment destinations.

The Queen Creek High School jazz band played as the ribbon was cut at Queen Creek's newest restaurant - Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen. Vice Mayor Oliphant and Council member Benning were there to celebrate and welcome Popeyes to Queen Creek.
