Queen Creek Primary Election Results

Queen Creek’s Primary Election for Mayor, three Town Council seats and the Home Rule Renewal (Alternative Expenditure Limitation) was held on Aug. 28. 

Final election results show that incumbent Gail Barney was re-elected as Mayor and incumbents Dawn Oliphant, Emilena Turley and Julia Wheatley were re-elected to Town Council. The Home Rule Renewal, allowing Queen Creek’s budget to be set at the local level, passed.

Election results include Town of Queen Creek resident votes from both Maricopa County and Pinal County. To view results visit Recorder.Maricopa.Gov for Maricopa County results and PinalCountyAZ.gov/Elections for Pinal County results.  

The Queen Creek Town Council passed resolution 1232-18 adopting the results of the primary election.

The elected Town Council will be seated during the first meeting in January 2019.
