Queen Creek Fire and Medical Department Promotes 16 Firefighters

The Queen Creek Fire and Medical Department (QCFMD) continues to expand to meet the needs of the community. Welcoming 14 new firefighters, the department promoted 16 employees, from engineer to deputy fire chief:

“This is an exciting time for the Queen Creek Fire and Medical Department,” shared QCFMD Chief Vance Gray. “We are fortunate to have outstanding, professional men and women dedicated to keeping this community safe. I’ve worked with many of these individuals for more than five years, and I know each of them are up to the challenge. As a growing community, I am honored to serve this outstanding department. Our Queen Creek family continues to grow, and these promotions are an important part of that growth.” 

QCFMD currently consists of three fire stations, Fire Station 1 located in Town Center, Fire Station 2 located at 24787 S. Sossaman Road and Fire Station 3 at 19159 E. Queen Creek Road. Interim station five, located on Combs and Rittenhouse, will open later this month. Fire Station 4, located on Signal Butte and Queen Creek, is currently in the design phase and is anticipated to open in 2020.
