  • Residents in Zone 2 will be delayed until Thursday, Dec. 26 and Thursday, Jan. 2

  • Residents in Zone 3 will be delayed until Friday, Dec. 27 and Friday, Jan. 3

  • Bulk Trash- Residents in Zone 1 will be delayed until Thursday, Jan. 2

Residents will need to have their carts out by 6 a.m. on their scheduled day for service. As a reminder, bulk trash services can be scheduled online at

Cooler Weather Brings Increased Events and Festivals to Queen Creek

As the temperatures continue to drop, the fall season is the perfect time to enjoy fun events happening throughout the community.

Pumpkin & Chili Party | Thursday to Sunday from Oct. 3 - 27, 24810 S. Rittenhouse Road

Offering hayrides, bonfires, corn mazes, entertainment and more, the Pumpkin & Chili Party at Schnepf Farms is always an exciting event. The party takes place every Thursday through Sunday in October, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday and Sundays and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Tickets are available for $17 at Fry’s Food and $22 at the event; children two and under are free. For more information, visit

Fall Cultural Festival | Oct. 12, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m., 21802 S. Ellsworth Road

Hosted by Pan de Vida, this annual event includes free health screenings, health and social information, and flu shots. The event will also feature food vendors, entertainment and activities for all ages. For more information, visit

Trunk or Treat | Oct. 19, 5 – 9 p.m., 21802 S. Ellsworth Road

The Town of Queen Creek’s Trunk or Treat event provides a fun and safe Halloween experience for families to enjoy. Presented by Rodeo Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram, an Earnhardt Dealership, the fun-filled festival offering trunk-or-treat street, carnival games, an escape room and more will be held from 5–9 p.m. on Ellsworth Road in Town Center (between Ocotillo and Rittenhouse).

MCSO Take Back | Oct. 27, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., 21055 E Rittenhouse Road

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) District 6 - Queen Creek is partnering with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to host a prescription drug take back event. The take back is an opportunity for residents to safely dispose of unused, unwanted and expired medications. The event will be held at the Queen Creek Walmart.

There are also a variety of events happening throughout the month of October at Horseshoe Park & Equestrian Centre, the Queen Creek Library and the Queen Creek Performing Arts Center. For a full listing of events visit
