Trash and recycling services will be impacted by the holidays for residents in Zone 2 and 3:

  • Residents in Zone 2 will be delayed until Thursday, Dec. 26 and Thursday, Jan. 2

  • Residents in Zone 3 will be delayed until Friday, Dec. 27 and Friday, Jan. 3

  • Bulk Trash- Residents in Zone 1 will be delayed until Thursday, Jan. 2

Residents will need to have their carts out by 6 a.m. on their scheduled day for service. As a reminder, bulk trash services can be scheduled online at QueenCreek.org/BulkTrash.

Ellsworth Road Closed on Dec. 7 for Queen Creek Holiday Festival and Parade

The annual Queen Creek Holiday Festival and Parade will take place on Saturday, Dec. 7 from noon-8 p.m. The festivities will take place on Ellsworth Road and at the Queen Creek Library, 21802 S. Ellsworth Rd. Temporary road closures and parking restrictions will be in place before and during the parade.

 

The parade will result in a full closure of Ellsworth Road from Sierra Park Boulevard to Ocotillo Road from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Dec. 7. Ellsworth Road will also be closed from Ocotillo Road to Rittenhouse Road from 1 - 6 p.m. on Dec. 7.

 

Presented by Rodeo Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram, an Earnhardt Dealership, the community event is hosted by the  Kiwanis Club of Queen Creek and the Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce, and sponsored by the Town of Queen Creek. The event includes craft vendors, food vendors, live entertainment, activities, an exciting parade and pictures with Santa.

 

The parade begins at 3:30 p.m. with the tree lighting at 6:30 p.m. The parade will begin at Sierra Park Boulevard heading north to Victoria Lane.
