The Town of Queen Creek Recognized as a Best Place to Work by the "Phoenix Business Journal"

Best Places to WorkThe Town of Queen Creek is a wonderful place to live, play and learn and is now also known as one of the best places in Arizona to work. On Dec. 3 the Phoenix Business Journal recognized the Town of Queen Creek as one of the 2015 Best Places to Work. Six hundred companies participated and 115 were recognized in five categories based on size. The Town ranked 14 in the midsize business category, and is the only government entity recognized in any of the categories for 2015.

“We are committed to creating a positive work environment where our highly professional employees can enjoy the work that they do while providing exemplary service to the residents and businesses in Queen Creek” shared Queen Creek Town Manager John Kross. “As a Town, we strive to provide opportunities for employees to Best Places to Workachieve their personal and professional goals while emphasizing the importance of a supportive workplace culture. I truly value the passion and professionalism of our employees, and appreciate that the whole team works so well together on behalf of our community.”

Based entirely on employee feedback, the award honors companies and organizations that provide a positive working environment. Over 85 percent of Town employees responded to the survey, which covered general work satisfaction, leadership and teamwork. The voluntary survey also provided an opportunity for employees to provide feedback and share their opinions.

“The Town of Queen Creek is a wonderful community, with a small, hometown atmosphere, and it is important to Best Places to Workthe Town Council that we do our best to make the Town a wonderful place to work as well so we continue to recruit the highest quality employees,” commented Queen Creek Mayor Gail Barney. “We are fortunate to have dedicated and professional staff working for the Town. Receiving this designation validates that our employees are feeling valued, and when people feel valued, they perform at their highest capacities. Our goal is to continue to make Queen Creek a great place to work, and an overall great place to live and do business.”
