Where is Horseshoe Park & Equestrian Centre (HPEC) located? Horseshoe Park & Equestrian Centre is located at 20464 E. Riggs Road, Queen Creek, AZ 85142 (Riggs Road, west of Ellsworth Road).
What is the difference between the Community Area and the Event Centre?  The Community Area, located in the southwest section of the facility, consists of an arena, round pen, small gathering area and restrooms. The Community Arena opens at 7 a.m. and closes at 10 p.m. daily. The arena is available for drop-in use only. Equestrian activities requiring special equipment (barrels, jumping poles, cones, mounted shooting, etc.) are not permitted. The Event Centre makes up the majority of the site. See the Park Features page for a list of amenities available for rent.
What types of events are allowed in the event center? Many of the events and shows hosted at Horseshoe Park are equestrian-oriented; however, any style of event may be considered. To discuss how your event can find a home at Horseshoe Park, please call 480-358-3793.
Can my group tour the facility?  To arrange a tour of the facility contact 480-358-3793.
How do I rent an arena at HPEC? Facility inquiries may be directed to 480-358-3793. See the Park Features page for general site information.
What does it cost to rent one of the arenas at HPEC?  Pricing varies depending on the needs of your event.  Please call 480-358-3793 to discuss your event requirements.
Do you require a deposit? Yes. A negotiated reservation fee is required for each event rental date. The reservation fee is due at the signing of a Facility Use Agreement. The reservation fee is credited to the final bill. Fees are non-refundable if the renter cancels the reservation.
Can the facility be rented on multi-year contracts?  Multi-year contracts are negotiable. Terms depend on the size of the event and its impact on the Queen Creek economy. Please call 480-358-3793 for questions about your rental.
What is the cancellation policy?  Unless otherwise stated in the contract, any cancellation within six months of the event date will require full payment of the contract.
Are incentives offered to groups that help bring in other events? Yes. Like so much else in this business, the size of the incentive is in direct correlation with the size of the event that is brought to Horseshoe Park. 
Will I have to provide the Town event insurance for my rental? Yes. The required coverage amounts, additionally insured documentation and type of policy will be outlined in your Facility Use Agreement. The insurance policy document must be received at least 30 days prior to the event. Failure to comply with insurance requirements will result in forfeiture of the reserved dates and any/all fees paid.
Is arena setup included in the arena rental fee? For example, are there fees to have the arena set up for roping? Arena rental fees cover the arena only. Any additional setup requirements (e.g., panel set up for roping, rodeo, bull riding, etc.) incur fees. For pricing details call 480-358-3793.
What type of catering/concessions is available? Concessions and catering are handled by our on-site concessionaire. No outside food or beverage vendors will be permitted without written consent from the Horseshoe Park General Manager. For details, please call 480-358-3793.
May I bring a grill and cook my own food while I'm at the park for an event? Grilling is only allowed at reserved RV sites.
Can you help me promote my event to the public? Yes! The Town of Queen Creek's Communications & Marketing Division can assist you in reaching out to local media representatives, post information about your event to the park's Facebook page and website, and provide you with an official HPEC logo for use in your advertisements. Do you allow alcohol to be served at the facility?  In order for your event to sell alcohol at HPEC, you will need to obtain a Special Event Liquor License. The application process to obtain the license typically takes a minimum of 3 months.
Do you allow smoking in the facility?  All buildings at HPEC are considered smoke-free. Smoking is permitted outside the buildings in designated areas of the centre. Smoking is not permitted in the overflow parking lot.
Are pets allowed? Animals must remain on a leash at all times, and their owners must pick up all related waste. 
Is camping allowed? Horseshoe Park has over 56 RV spaces available. Each space will include water and electric hook-ups. RV spaces are $25 per night. 
Is there an RV dump site at HPEC?   We do not have a dump site at the park.  However you can contact Tameron's Plumbing and Septic Service to have them pump out your black and grey tanks.  www.tameronseptic.com or 480-220-7133
How do I rent a stall at HPEC?  If you are coming in with an event, please check your registration forms for stall reservation information.  Otherwise, contact the HPEC business office at 480-358-3793 to rent a stall. 
Will I have to pay for parking? Paid parking may be implemented during ticketed events. Parking costs/programming for non-ticketed events is decided on an ‘event-by-event’ basis.
How do I get information about tickets? Costs/programming for events is decided on an ‘event-by-event’ basis. Generally the event promoter sets all prices.  Check the HPEC calendar of events or Facebook page for links to specific events.
How do I become a vendor at events? Contact the Horseshoe Park office at 480-358-3793 for vendor information.
