Ceramics

Ceramics for Kids (6-15 yrs)
Kids will enjoy making projects of characters from popular movies like Moana, Despicable Me, or even an elephant.

Ceramics for Adults (16+ yrs)
Get creative and hand build coffee cups, salad bowls, or even throw on the potter’s wheel.  Instructor: Jed Cossonay

Mediterranean Italian  Art and Cuisine (16+ yrs)
Come and join us in the exciting adventure that combines two favorites - clay and cooking! Each person will make four Mediterranean style pottery pieces: a stoneware dutch oven, a large salad bowl, and two soup bowls. After your clay experience, we will head into the kitchen and whip up a signature dish that will pair perfectly with your newly made pottery pieces.

Original Mexican Art and Cuisine (16+ yrs)
Original old world Mexican recipes from the Figueroa family.  Taking this class will make you feel the flavor of old Mexico.  Make colorful, Mexican style pottery cookware and then dine on your newly created Mexican style pottery.

Jewelry Design

Jewelry Making Precious Metal Clay (18+ yrs)
Come make and design your own elegant jewelry in bronze or copper.  This exciting class teaches you to sculpt with the metal and use gemstones to create your own jewelry!

Creative Drawing, Painting, and Crafts

Preschool: Exploring Arts & Crafts (3-5 yrs)
Have a fun and fanciful creative adventure right along your preschooler.  Work with your child as they discover the magic of exploring watercolor, acrylics, pastels, markers, and building with wood and stone.  Please wear smocks. Continuing students are welcome, our projects are always changing, and foster a love of art and creativity.

Creative Kids (5-10 yrs)
Students will learn how to evaluate the proportions of an object.  We will explore the art of really looking at our objects using pencils, watercolors, markers, beads, acrylics, clay, and pastel on varied surfaces including wood and glass.  We will begin to explore composition, positive and negative space, and backgrounds that are creative and imaginative. Ongoing students will proceed at their own level. Please wear painting clothes.

Teen Illustration, Painting, & Animation (10-17 yrs)
Teens will be exposed to a variety of materials and projects including animation in the development of a character.  They will involve critical thinking skills designed to solve visual problems in composition design and perspective. Projects will include drawing, painting, watercolor, acrylic, and colored pencils.  They will use models and develop intuitive design skills. Continuing students will work independently in their chosen media. Please wear painting clothes.

Beginning Painting for Seniors & Adults (18+ yrs)|
A class dedicated to creative elements of color and design.  We will study value, light, & drawing methods. Let your imagination run wild!  Loosen up and play! We’ll try watercolor, acrylics, pastels, marker, and colored pencils.  All materials are covered by your supply fee. Continuing students will be able to concentrate on their choice of media and projects.  We will design a scarf, paint on canvas, and design Easter greeting cards. Please wear paint clothes.
