Trash and recycling services will be impacted by the holidays for residents in Zone 2 and 3:
Residents in Zone 2 will be delayed until Thursday, Dec. 27 and Thursday, Jan. 3
Residents in Zone 3 will be delayed until Friday, Dec. 28 and Friday, Jan. 4
Bulk Trash- Residents in Zone 1 will be delayed until Thursday, Jan. 3
Residents will need to have their carts out by 6 a.m. on their scheduled day for service. As a reminder, bulk trash services can be scheduled online at QueenCreek.org/BulkTrash.
To avoid disruption in service, carts MUST be curbside by 6 a.m. on your scheduled pick up day. Carts are required to be at least two (2) feet apart and lids completely shut for collection.
Plastic bags CANNOT be placed in the recycle cart. Plastic bags catch in the recycle machines and cause serious damage. Select stores accept plastic bags to be recycled; otherwise they belong in the trash!
Residential recycled materials are picked up from your recycling cart and brought to Right Away Disposal in Apache Junction, AZ. Watch this video to get a glimpse of your recyclables traveling through the recycling facility, also known as a material recovery facility (MRF).
Have questions on what goes in your cart and what does not?
Visit the QC Recycle Center
Conveniently located at Crewse Lane and Ellsworth Road in Town Center (across from Founders' Park Splash Pad, just south of Town Hall). The Town provides this service to residents who live in multi-family communities or businesses without in-house recycling. Recycling helps the entire community! This site is available to anyone who wishes to use it, including those who have not yet begun service.
