Where can I take my household trash and/or green waste if it doesn’t fit into my residential trash cart?

Residents with current Town of Queen Creek trash and recycling services may take up to 1,000 lbs. for the discounted $10 rate.  Loads over 1,001 lbs. will be charged $20 for the first 1,000 lbs. and then prorated (based on $40 per ton).  Commercial trailers are acceptable.

  • Only residents with a current Town of Queen Creek trash and recycling account that present a water bill (within 45 days) or driver's license that matches the Town of Queen Creek trash and recycling account address, can use the Self-Haul Transfer Station.
  • Acceptable items include: household trash, construction materials, green waste and carpet
  • Unacceptable items include: Household Hazardous Waste (HHW), refrigerators, medical waste and liquid waste (oil, paint, chemicals, etc.).

For safety, residents are required to wear a yellow or neon green safety vest or shirt. If you do not have one, a disposable vest will be provided. For regular users, you may purchase a reusable vest onsite for $8 from RAD.
