60% design plans are currently under staff and utility review for relocation coordination and design. Design will be proceeding to the 90% stage through the fall. Utility relocation design efforts are underway. Any identified additional easements will be acquired through the fall. The project is expected to bid around the first of the year.
The Town is scheduling the construction along Chandler Heights Road to occur in two phases. This split staging will help reduce traffic impacts in the area due to other construction that will be occurring on Ocotillo Road between Sossaman and Hawes Roads on a similar schedule. Chandler Heights Road east of Power Road will be constructed first with Chandler Heights Road west of Power and Power Road following in sequence.
A public open house to present the project is scheduled for October 15, 2019 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Founders Room at the Queen Creek Historic Town Hall at 22350 S. Ellsworth Road.
